John and Nina
Our names are John and Nina. We are grateful for the opportunity to introduce ourselves. We know that making the decision to place your child for adoption was not an easy one. We admire your courage, strength and selfless act of love for the well being of your child. We wish you strength and peace in this difficult decision you are making.
We have known each other for nine years and been happily married for five and a half years. A mutual friend introduced us. Our relationship started as a friendship and quickly grew. We realized we had a lot of things in common. We enjoy traveling, running, golfing, walking and playing with our two Labradors - Bodean, a yellow lab and Charlie, a chocolate lab. We enjoy spending time with our families and friends and going to White Sox baseball games and Bears football games. We had our first kiss in 1999 at the White Sox opening day and have not missed an opening day since. We truly are each other's best friends.
John is the middle child of three brothers and graduated from Devry University with a degree in Telecommunications. After 11 years in the computer industry, John was ready for a change and now enjoys a challenging and successful career in Sales. John's schedule is very flexible and works from home time to time. John is very outgoing, hard working and has a great sense of humor and enjoys spending time with his friends and their families that he has known since grade school.
Nina is the youngest of three siblings with a brother and sister. Nina graduated from Trinity Christian College with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. She works in the Intensive Care Unit and enjoys working with the critically ill patients and their families. Nina brings much compassion and caring to her profession. Many of her patients tell her she went into the right profession. Nina's schedule is also very flexible and will work part time when the baby arrives. Nina is a very warm person with a heart of gold.
Our families are very important to us and we both believe it is very important that the baby be raised by the families. Both of our parents are retired and available to watch the baby when needed. Our families are so excited to welcome your child that will come into our home. The baby will be surrounded by an extended family of aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and our closest friends and their children. We are blessed to have such loving families who all live close by. We get together quite often for family functions that include pool parties, barbeques and birthday dinners.
We have been greatly blessed throughout our lives and in our marriage. We still have a void in our hearts. We have had many trials and tribulations with infertility. After almost 4 years and several different infertility treatments we have been unsuccessful in achieving pregnancy. We have come to peace with infertility and feel adoption is right for us. We have grown so close over the 4 years that we recognize the importance of family and so badly want to be parents. We dream of showering your child with the utmost love and attention. We are anxious to teach, nurture and cherish your baby.
We plan to raise your child with strong values. We are both of Catholic faith. We are excited to meet with you and learn of issues important to you to instill in your child. Your baby will always know of your deep love for him/her and about their adoption. We will share our gratitude and respect for you and how special you are.
Thank you again for reading our profile. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We hope to share with you the adoption story....
Sincerely,
John and Nina
