Dear Birthmother,
We recognize how difficult it must be for you to make such an unselfish decision. You probably never expected your life to take this turn with a child on the way. Having a child to love is something many people take for granted. For us, it has been 15 long years of infertility. We appreciate you taking the time to learn more about us and we sincerely look forward to getting to know you.
Above all, it is important for you to know that we want our child to be brought up with all of the sincerity and compassion for their birthparents. We will speak only from our hearts that the decision of adoption was made with deep love and devotion from you. We hope you share in our feelings that our relationship will not end after placement of the child. We have a great deal of love in our hearts and the gift of life you choose for your child shows what kind of person you are.
We always knew how much we loved each other, but when something you want so very badly is out of reach, you realize what God means by "you are one."
All children are truly one of life's greatest miracles. Adopted children are even more special due to the amount of people that love them. No child can ever be loved by too many people. They will never have to wonder why they were adopted. They will know it is because of love.
We would also like for you to know that we will love our child unconditionally. Children are special gifts and we will cherish them. We want them to know that they can come to us with any questions or problems. Our families are eager for a new addition to our family and our child will be treated exactly the same as the other children in our family.
