St. Mary’s has helped many couples build their families through international adoption. With each country having specific procedures and requirements, it is important to work with an agency that has the knowledge and understanding to walk you through your international adoption journey. Our International Adoption Coordinator has more than 25 years of professional and personal experience with international adoption.

While St. Mary’s does not place children for adoption from other countries, we partner with agencies that have placement programs in various countries. This partnership enables St. Mary’s to help prospective families with the Illinois piece of the adoption, including the required home study and dossier and post-placement services. The partner placing agency handles the international requirements.
