All seminars are open to the public. There is a $40 per person fee that is non-refundable. This fee does not apply to families that have been accepted into St. Mary’s domestic program.

 

 

Effects of Prenatal Substance Exposure on the Developing Fetus and Managing Behaviors

Dr. Dan Griffith, licensed clinical pediatric psychologist, will speak in detail about the effects prenatal substance and alcohol exposure have on the developing fetus as well as managing children’s behaviors at different developmental stages. Click here to register.

 

Talking to Your Child about Adoption at Different Developmental Stages

Tuesday, October 15, 2019; 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

St. Mary’s Services – 510 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine

Join Kay Holler, LCSW, therapist and adoptive parent, as she discusses how to approach the topic of adoption with children and teens. She will address common questions children ask their parents about adoption and effective ways to talk about adoption at the different stages of their development. Click here to register.

 

Programs are not appropriate for children* and babysitting services are not available. One credit given per seminar hour attended. Cash or check are accepted day of the seminar.
